'Carlara' is a new villa on a quiet, low density, residential area of Faro Park, which is approx 35 mins drive from the airport. But only 3mins walk from a French Patisserie, Canarian Coffee Bar, a Pub, Mediterranean Restaurant and a Balti House (with delivery & takeaway) and a small provisions store. Another pub is due to open, maybe a hairdressers and maybe a supermarket, and other shops. About 5 mins drive to the Playa Flamingo Beach and Playa Blanca town with its harbour, restaurants and pedestrianised shopping and beach. Another 2 mins drive is the wonderful Pappaygo beaches continuing all along the coastline. This villa has lots of extras no other villa offer, air conditioning in all bedrooms, security alarm, luxurious 100% cotton designer linen, choice of pillows and robes, hair dryer for every bedroom, not to mention the night safe, electric cooler box, acrylic poolside glasses & crockery and cut crystal glasses.

The pool, which has roman steps with safety handle bars, is 8mts x 4mts and in the centre is 1.6 mts deep, around the edges, the water is about 1mtr. It is heated by electric heater pump with a thermostat and timer, so that the pool should always be inviting and should be covered with the pool cover overnight. The pool is cleaned twice a week, tested and treated, as hygiene is very important. Surrounding the heated pool are 6 'Textoline' sun loungers, beach/pool towels are provided, also a patio table & 6 reclining 'Textoline' chairs; The garden has been landscaped, 'Canarian Style' ! With more beautiful Bougainvillea, catus and other plants. The black picon is a wonderful ground cover (small chips of volcanic stone). The garden is watered automatically.

Cool luxurious marble floors compliment accents in volcanic rock and timber. From the hall through to the lounge there is wonderful inside Garden Terrace/Atrium with Bougainvillea, an orange tree and other plants in here you could have morning coffee or in the evening, watch the stars with a glass of wine, overlooking the pool. The kitchen which has micro/grill, halogen hob & oven with rotisserie, fridge freezer and of course a dishwasher. We have tried to think of everything, right down to acrylic glasses and plates for poolside yet still have cut crystal at dinner. Alongside is the laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.

The lounge adjoins the kitchen via a timber breakfast bar and a lovely archway, allowing views of the Lighthouse ('Faro') and a glimpse of the islands of Fuerteventura and Lobos. The lounge has really comfortable seating for up to 9 persons, with a quality Italian ivory leather suite. There are even throws to be used should you wish to come straight from the pool. Here a Z bed or two could be set up for guest numbers over 6. TV with DVDs, (50+ DVD selection), and English SATILLITE stations. For extra entertainment, if needed, there is an X-BOX + 3games and a CD player with speakers and CDs. Here the cool high domed ceiling keeps this room really light and airy.

From the lounge there are timber and glass patio doors that open out onto the large shaded 'al fresco' dining area (rustic table & chairs enough for 10) with a large Canarian style built barbecue.

'Carlara' Villa has been furnished to high luxury standards, to give a home from home feel. Soft Leather sofas, 'Textoline' loungers give comfort all day long along with the linen which is 100% cotton from designers like Ralph Lauren, Laura Ashley etc, luxurious Egyptian Cotton towels & bath sheets; There is even a selection of pillows. Don't forget to use the soft, sumptuous bathrobes! Wheelchair friendly.

There are two twin bedded rooms (with enough king size linen to push the beds together if so desired!) These rooms all overlook the wonderful inviting warm swimming pool. There is lots of wardrobe space, and every bedroom has its own TV with DVD & CD player and AIR CONDITIONING!!

Adjacent to these bedrooms is large marble family shower bathroom, with marble washbasin, & wc, another bathroom with vanity wash basin and wc. There are also 2 Z-Beds and no charge for the use of the cot and high chair (Mamas & Papas) if required, but bring your baby's own linen.

The Master bedroom with AIR CONDITIONING has sliding patio doors opening directly onto the pool & sun terrace It has its own 'walk through' changing room, and a super-king size bed surrounded by Lloyd Loom style cane furniture, Again a TV with DVD - CD is fitted and adjoining is the ensuite bathroom, with shower,bath & bidet, wc...

On your arrival we leave for you an excellent 'welcome pack' with wine, bread, butter, cheese,coffee,tea,milk,juice and tissues. We can shop for more items at additional cost. The villa is cleaned prior to your arrival, there is a towel change mid week and the bathrooms are tidied if required. On 2-week holidays bed linen is changed on the second week along with towels. The Pool is tested & cleaned twice a week, usually a Tuesday and Friday, but may change due to weather conditions etc. If required, the housekeeper can visit more; just ask her about the extra cost.

Faro Park is right on the south coast of Lanzarote and really enjoys the best of the sunny warm weather that the island offers. 'Carlara' Villa is situated towards the South West, so bedrooms are mainly in shade morning and evening, whilst optimising the sun around pool and terrace during the day, with plenty of shaded pergola cover on the terrace and around al fresco dining area. Cool breezes (well known in Lanzarote) take the temperature to a comfortable sub tropical heat. And when you are there visit Playa Blanca and the Papagayo beaches, or try Femmes for an early dinner; Golfo is great for lunch and a stroll. Graciaosa (via the ferry at Orzola) is good for a day trip if feeling adventurous even try a ferry to Fuerteventura; Mirador del Rio worth the diversion for stunning views and go to Arrieta after for lunch and a swim; not forgetting the stunning new Marina Rubicon; or Bodega Restaurant at Uga for a stunning dinner! All these places are not a very far drive or taxi away. All in all a magnificent location, which generously offers something for everyone. From walking, cycling, windsurfing, sailing to golf, fishing and the rest, to just lazing away the days by the pool! You will have a wonderful holiday here in Lanzarote.
